Emoji.
Economy.
Every emoji is a card.
A collectible economy built on top of the full Unicode standard. Deterministic rarity. Unique ownership per season. Real crafting, real trading, and a cooperative raid at the end of every season. No gambling. No prefix spam. No pay-to-win.
A collectible economy built on top of Unicode.
Every emoji in the Unicode standard becomes a collectible. Rarity is a deterministic SHA-256 hash of the emoji's own bytes against a fixed salt - no curated lists, no manual assignment, no drift. The mapping is identical on every server, forever.
The rule that makes the economy work: every emoji can only be owned by one player per season. No infinite supply. No whale cornering a tier. You pull it, craft it, or trade for it - and the pool shrinks with every mint.
Four verbs. One economy.
-
01 / FORGE
/mintMintSpend 10 coins, press Strike a few times, pull a random emoji from the current pool. Every mint has a 25% chance to roll a trait. Duplicates of emojis you already own convert to shards instead of stacking.
-
02 / SWAP
/trade·/marketSwap directly, or list on the market for coins. Because ownership is unique, every trade is against real scarcity.
-
03 / CONSTRUCT
/craft·/fuseBreak duplicates into shards. Fuse three shards of a tier into one of the next. Craft specific emojis from blueprints.
-
04 / RAID
/bossFightAt the end of Week 1 every season, a Celestial awakens. The whole server fights it on a 5×5 grid - stars, void, echoes, memory phases, gravity wells. Loot goes to the top damage dealer. Motes go to the top quartile.
Seven tiers. 5,244 emojis. One hash each.
Each emoji's digest is reduced modulo 924 - the sum of all tier weights - and bucketed through a cumulative table. Adding a new emoji to Unicode never shifts an existing one's tier. The salt is the only lever: bump it and the world re-rolls.
Two probabilities are in play, and they are not the same thing. Tier weight is how often you roll that tier at all. Per-emoji rate is how often you get one specific emoji from that tier's pool. Because the pools are sized to compensate for their weight - 2,812 Commons at weight 500, but only 8 Celestials at weight 1 - the per-emoji rates land in a surprisingly narrow band. A specific Common appears once every 5,197 mints. A specific Celestial, once every 7,392. The tier decides your shard payout and the flex; the specific emoji you pull is close to a uniform draw across all 5,244.
Read the per-emoji column carefully. Mythical is the most common per individual emoji - 10 slots, weight 3 - while Celestial is the rarest, 8 slots at weight 1. The tier's weight is about how often you land in the bucket; the pool size is about how diluted that bucket is. And the per-emoji column is a single-mint snapshot: once an emoji is owned by anyone on your server, it drops out of your effective pool for the rest of the season. The top of the ladder drains fastest.
25% chance to roll a trait on mint.
Traits are passive modifiers attached to individual emoji instances. Each one changes a specific rule somewhere in the game. Some help. Some hurt. One breaks the entire uniqueness invariant on purpose.
See the mint loop. Click strike.
A static demo of the mint interaction. Real mints run inside Discord - this just shows the rhythm. Strike a few times, watch the progress bar fill, and the pool returns an emoji.
At the end of Week 1, a Celestial awakens.
Every season, the server fights a single Celestial together on a 5×5 grid. Everyone damages the same HP bar. Loot - a guaranteed Celestial pull - goes to the top damage dealer. Motes and permanent Echo points go to the top quartile.
Reproduce an N/S/E/W sequence before the window closes. Correct heals. Wrong hurts.
Phase 3 only. Watch a hidden sequence, then reproduce it. Heavy bonus damage on success.
Burn an emoji via /boss sacrifice to purify void cells and gain permanent damage. Echoing doubles the bonus.
Seasons reset. Echoes persist.

Questions people actually ask.
Twenty answers, most common confusion first.
A9·01Is this a gambling bot?+
No. There's no slot machine, no coinflip, no blackjack, no lottery. The only randomness is the rarity roll on /mint - a fixed weighted table, identical for every player. You can't stake coins on an outcome.
A9·02Is it pay-to-win?+
No. No premium currency, no paywalls, no boosts. The only inputs are time and play. Everything you can earn, everyone can earn.
A9·03Why can't I mint an emoji someone else already has?+
That's the uniqueness rule. Each emoji has a single owner per season. When you /mint a Rare, the pool of Rare emojis filters out anything already owned by anyone else on the server - including you.
With 2,812 Commons in the pool, this rarely bites at the bottom of the ladder. With 8 Celestials, it bites immediately: if 5 are owned, only 3 remain. The top of the catalog drains first, and every mint makes the next one scarcer.
Two exceptions: a pull you already own converts to shards + coins as a dupe. And any emoji with the Hollow trait ignores the ownership filter entirely.
A9·04How is rarity decided? Can it drift?+
Rarity is a deterministic SHA-256 hash of the emoji's own bytes against a fixed salt, reduced modulo 924 (the sum of all tier weights) and bucketed through a cumulative table. There is no cache file, no curated list, no manual assignment.
- Identical on every server, every boot, forever.
- New Unicode emojis never shift an existing one's tier.
- Only the salt lever causes a global re-roll.
- Tier weights are 500 / 250 / 120 / 40 / 10 / 3 / 1. Total: 924.
One consequence worth knowing: because the pools are sized to compensate, the per-emoji drop rate is nearly flat across tiers. A specific Mythical is actually more likely per mint than a specific Common - there are only 10 Mythicals and 2,812 Commons. Rarity is about the tier bucket and the shard payout, not about any single emoji being astronomically unlikely.
A9·05What happens to my inventory at season end?+
By default: everything resets. Coins go back to 250, shards and blueprints are wiped, inventory is cleared. This is what keeps the economy from becoming a static pile.
What persists: Echo Points, purchased Echo perks, boss win counts, MVP records, weekly activity history, account age, lifetime trades counter.
Server owners can disable the inventory reset - check /season to see which rule applies.
A9·06What are Celestial Motes?+
The raid currency. You earn them by picking up ✨ cells on the boss grid (they spawn from Phase 2 onward) and by ranking in the top quartile of the raid.
Spend via /forge <emoji> to re-roll the rarity of an emoji you own. The identity stays the same, only the tier moves. Weighted the same as a fresh mint.
A9·07Can I trade an Anchored emoji?+
No. Anchored emojis cannot be traded, listed, or sacrificed. They're locked to your account for the season. The trade-off: they contribute +10% to your net-worth score, which affects the leaderboard.
A9·08What does the Hollow trait actually do?+
Hollow deliberately breaks the uniqueness filter. An emoji with Hollow is invisible to the ownership check, so other players can mint a copy even though you own it. Hollow emojis are the only duplicates allowed per season.
If you pull a Hollow Celestial, everyone else in the server can now also mint one. Plan accordingly.
A9·09What's the Boon of the Day?+
A global modifier rolled once per UTC day, shared across every player. It changes one rule for 24 hours.
- 🌾 Fertility - dupe rewards give double shards
- 🌬️ Trade Winds - trade tax is 0%
- 🔨 Forge - fuse ratio is 2:1 instead of 3:1
- 🕳️ Void - Celestial weight is 5×
- 💀 Sacrifice - boss sacrifice bonus is doubled
Check with /boon. Rolls at 00:00 UTC sharp.
A9·10What is the Hall of Echoes?+
A permanent perk tree that survives every reset. You earn Echo Points from every action - 1 per mint, 3 per fuse, 5 per craft, 2 per trade, up to 100 for a raid MVP.
Seven tiers, from echo_i (+5% daily) up to echo_vii (+1 Celestial weight). Costs scale 100 → 10,000. Open with /echo, buy with /echo perk:echo_iii.
A9·11How do I earn coins?+
Four sources:
/daily- base 100, plus 25 per weekly play action (cap 10 → max 350/day)- Duplicates - every dupe gives coins back (5–1000 by tier)
- Market sales - list an emoji, get paid
- Boss rewards - 500 to 5,000, by rank
No gambling faucet. No interest. No passive income.
A9·12Is there a pity system?+
Yes. Every non-Rare-or-better mint increments a pity counter. At 50 mints without Rare+, your next mint is forced to at least Rare. Counter resets the moment you pull Rare naturally. Resets at season end with everything else.
A9·13Do I need to be in a specific server?+
No. Every command is a global slash command. Wherever the bot is installed, type / and use it.
Caveat: uniqueness is per-server. Two different servers have separate pools. An emoji owned on Server A can still be minted by someone on Server B.
A9·14Is my data shared with anyone?+
No. No analytics, no tracking, no external API calls, no third parties. Everything the bot knows about you lives in local JSON files on the server it runs on. Nothing leaves. The bot doesn't even require a privileged intent.
A9·15What's the "blueprint" image?+
/blueprint <emoji> renders the emoji onto a blueprint-styled PNG - dark navy, cyan grid, cyan outline traced from the emoji's own silhouette and interior edges. It's the visual identity of the bot.
Mechanical use: specific blueprints (earned from skips and events) count toward crafting that exact emoji, at 10 shards of its tier per blueprint.
A9·16What if I get a wrong Echo answer?+
You take damage. Phase 1: 15 HP. Phase 2: 18. Phase 3: 21. Starting HP is 100, and you regenerate only by answering Echoes correctly (+4 each).
At HP 0, you're marked out - you can't act or move for the rest of the fight, but you still count as a participant. If the raid wins, you still get rewards at a lower rank.
A9·17Is there a web dashboard?+
No, and there won't be. Everything is in Discord. The design principle: the game lives where the players live. No separate login, no web UI to keep in sync, no OAuth nightmare.
This page exists to explain the bot, not to control it.
A9·18Can I reset my account?+
Yes - ask the bot owner to run /admin resetuser @you. Wipes coins, inventory, shards, blueprints, pity, motes, and Echo perks. Refunds nothing.
No self-service reset. Intentional: resetting is destructive and rare, and doing it accidentally would be worse than doing it inconveniently.
A9·19Why don't my emoji show up as images?+
Emojis are rendered as text, not as custom server emojis. The catalog contains all 5,244 Unicode emojis, and Discord has a hard limit on custom emoji slots per server. Unicode emojis render everywhere, work in every client, require zero upload bandwidth.
One exception: /blueprint renders any emoji to a PNG on demand.
A9·20Can I run this on my own server?+
Not currently public. It was built for a small set of servers and is not designed to be self-hosted by strangers - the JSON store, per-server uniqueness, and slash command sync all assume a trusted operator.
It runs cleanly on Pterodactyl's stock Python egg with three dependencies: discord.py, pillow, and emoji. Talk to the owner if you want it deployed.
